    Yes as in you won't reach the attack cap and I'd rather take 7% more attack then a mere 5 accuracy. The exception to this would be DRK and BLU (and melee RDM?) since it also helps with resting MP.

      Re: Food for DNC

      Occasionally, new food changes things. I think if I were starting DNC over again, I'd just split the difference for the lower levels.

      Edit: For those who can't get to the wiki at work, Marinara Pizza.
      Food Effects: (3 hours, All Races)

      * HP +20
      * Attack +20% (Cap: 50 @ 250 Base Attack)
      * Accuracy +10% (Verification Needed) (Cap: ??)
      * Undead Killer

        Actually, a friend of mine showed me that but I didn't check the availability.

        Seems people are already mass-producing it. That thing is ultra hardcore sexy.

          O . O

          When did they add Pizza?! And wow is that ever a nice food effect. Too bad the attack caps so low or it might actually have been a viable meripo food. Mind you, 6~7% accuracy vs 50 attack hmm...

            Pizza in general (Margherita, Anchovy, Pepperoni) has been around since March. Marinara Pizza was just added in the December update.

              But from what I heard, making the damn thing is a pain in the ass.

                It is, but that isn't stopping the mass production. It is driving up the price, however, and the fact that accuracy and attack percentages are available for the first time together also makes it valuable. The low caps also scream "I AM A LOW LEVEL FOOD", perfect for just about all melee jobs, Dancer included, on up to probably about the mid 40s to early 50s.

                  Wow, Marinara Pizza is nice! Finally S-E introduce a food that bridge the gap between both accuracy and attack for low levels. In the past low level melee in general was like: eat attack food --- lack accuracy gear... or eat accuracy food --- lack attack gear, and overall hit rate still not reliable. If the price of Marinara Pizza is reasonable, it maybe the food of choice in Colibri TP-burn parties.

                      5k per pop on my server now. I better pop yellow curry.

                      Making an analogy:
                      Attack food - Spoon
                      Acc food - Fork
                      Marinara Pizza - Spork
                      Thanks,

                        How much inventory do you have to be able to go through 10 of these/hour?! I'll stick to meat mithkabobs on colibri (which is already more than most DD are willing to eat).

                        Note that coeuauaiorl subs (the most common "decent but not special" attack food for meripo) cap at attack +70. So lose a measly 15 attack to gain X acc. Just how much acc is the real question.

                          Oh, I haven't check Marinara Pizza isn't stack-able x_x ... (of cuz pizza isn't stack-able...) I should think before I posted Orz.

                          But since the topic is about what food for DNC, I am curious what food is good for DNC in merit parties?

                            I bought a Marinara Pizz +1 (only 1.5k more) and will see if I like it ...

                            Curious... and maybe this just an obvious question but I wanna go in with confidence -

                            Does everyone think for the Level 70 cap fight I should use Sole Sushi or Squid Sushi (+1 of course) or is there something even better?

                              Bream Sushi +1 is best if your looking for pure Accuracy +17% +6 Dex if your looking for a mash of stuff squid, or sole, or that pizza.

                                I find most capped fights to be against mobs with relatively low evasion. Typical BC-style NMs will be EM-VT in stats with horrendously high HP and offensive stats. I think most exceptions are notable exceptions -- things FF Wiki would say "this dude has high evasion". If this is a solo fight, that just adds to the likelihood that your opponent will have low-ish evasion. But if you're still a DNC... your opponent has eva bonuses... and you need tp...

                                Good luck.
