  • Discussion: Reverse Flourish's Potential

    Hi everyone

Recently I obtained Reverse Flourish and it is amazing. Basically it transforms all Finishing Moves into TP and is reusable every 30 seconds. From Wiki and personaly experience

    1 Finishing Move = 10
    2 Finishing Move = 21
    3 Finishing Move = 33
    4 Finishing Move = 46
    5 Finishing Move = 60

Now I've brought this topic up mainly to discuss the use of Reverse Flourish. Clearly it's potential is huge considering that TP is such a huge factor in how DNC performs. Looking straight at the data, Steps, and how Finishing Moves are calculated ( 2 Finishing Moves per Step up to Lvl 5, 1 Finishing Moves per Step refreshing Lvl 5 effects ) I would like to discuss which approach seems most beneficial.

A: Reverse Flourish every 30 seconds (regardless of Finishing Move #)
B: Reverse Flourish every 1 Finishing Moves
C: Reverse Flourish every 2 Finishing Moves
D: Reverse Flourish every 3 Finishing Moves
E: Reverse Flourish every 4 Finishing Moves
F: Reverse Flourish every 5 Finishing Moves

For this discussion I would like to discuss it over a period of 2 hrs. Since this is the average time most PTs last in my experience so far. Also keep in mind that each Step you use takes 10% TP and recast time for Steps is 15 seconds. As far as how many steps you can get in on a mob before it dies, so far I've only been able to land lvl 5 and/or refresh lvl 5 once per mob (while keeping chain 5).

    Discuss

P.S: I realize there are other Flourishes II to use and Flourish I to use too that'll take up Finishing Moves. However, I'd like to just concentrate on Reverse Flourish as a form of constant TP b/c DNCs require TP so much and dances cost more TP later on.
