I still have a ways to go on the download, but once I can start playing again I'm wanting to get a Magic Hammer build and looking for some advice. Ideally this build will be cheapish, and maybe or maybe not involve Nyzul. With being out of the game for so long I don't know if I have a Nyzul static anymore or what all is going on.
So, what I'm thinking of is:
Head: Magus Keffiyeh
Neck: Promise Badge
Body: Errant
Waist: Nothing really grabbing me here besides Penitent's Belt, which may be expensive, I don't recall.
Hands: Mirage Bazubands <<< Already have them
Legs: Errant
Feet: Errant
Ring1: Sapphire/Serenity Ring, whichever is cheaper/available
Ring2: Sapphire/Serenity Ring, whichever is cheaper/available
Ear1: Geist Earring?
Ear2: Geist Earring?
Back: Red/White Cape +1
Traits: Magic Attack Bonus
Total +mnd comes to +53
And while I would like to use this mainly in Campaign, I am also interested in getting a build that can net decent returns on normal mobs. Say returns of 80-100+ mp returned.
One thing that concerns me, does Str affect Magic Hammer at all? The Errant gear comes with a hefty decrease to Str.
This is just what I'm initially thinking of tossing together, so comment/critic away!
