Re: Auto Refresh, Worth it?
The thing with auto refresh is that every little bit helps. Sure, by itself it isn't much, but it IS a static 1 mp/3 seconds, which turns into 20 mp/minute and then 1,200 mp/hour, which is alot. Especially if you are not resting.
I don't know, haven't really used it much yet myself. My only issue with Blank Gaze is that it's a line of sight move, and party members have an annoying habit of pulling hate right as I'm casting.
I think the best general advice for setting spells that I can give is that you should not plan for every contingency, you simply can't set that many spells in most situations. Focus on the spells that complement your role in the party, and focus on the job abilities that you gain through spells to boost your role in the party. IMO it's important to always have a healing spell set, I have seen merit parties die horribly to Colibri because the Brd's sleep didn't land, and the reflected song just happened to hit the Rdm and the Brd together. And since the Blu hadn't set any healing spells, despite being asked to, no one could wake up the Rdm or the Brd, most of us died horrible deaths.
The lone Drg who shall remain nameless, being far too sexy and beautiful to die, made smart use of her Seigan/TE, Super Jump, and Spirit Surge to avoid a messy and untimely death. However she was also the only one of two survivors of the whole debacle.
Moral of the story, carrots and fruit save lives!
So yeah, gear up your spells for your role in the party, at least have a healing spell set as an extra, and then just go from there.

What I have heard was that Geist Wall sucked absolutely as a Dispel.
