Since we're on the topic of weapons and WS and stuff I'm wondering what is better?

A) Spam Vorpal Blade + DDs spells
B) save TP till you can do your own self SC (granted you can get away with 1 WS in 2 mins and have TP for your self SC)

Depends on your magic accuracy against the target.
for Exp, most of the time SC is resisted; Hence, I spam Vorpal/Disseverment almost every time.

For Nyzul assault, Limbus, Salvage, and campaign battle, except for the megaboss mob, they rarely resist SC. Some of the mob even take double-triple damage of SC

I once had 400 Expiacion -> 1.8k CA VC -> 5.4k darkness on Jagidbod of the Clan reaper.
It's really fun seeing its HP dropped from 45% to 0 in single self SC :D

Also, depending on the type of mob, I'll do SC in a different way.
If it's weak to piercing then Savage -> CA Disseverment
If it's weak to blunt then Vorpal -> CA Hysterric Barrage
For others I always use Expiacion -> CA Vertical Cleave
