  • The truth about Body Slam?

I've waded through forum after forum trying to find the absolute truth about learning this spell, and I've seen confliction after confliction.

What can teach this spell, and what can't?

Shadow Dragon in Xarcabard should be able to teach it too.

You sure? I've killed him a number of times, and I don't remember him ever using Body Slam. I don't think it's in his ability list.

Not sure, but I don't see why not. It's the correct mob type, and Biast which pops from it uses the move. Dragons have a long ability list. Possibly it's just chance that you've never seen him use it?

You cannot learn Body Slam from the dragon in XCB.

3 easiest ways to learn Body Slam
            1) Enchanted Dragon in Limbus 2nd Floor Temenos (I learned it this way)
            2) Zombie Dragon lv 84 in MtZhayolm or in Assault LC Badge
            3) Double Dragonian BCNM

Eww, those are some ugly options at level 62, especially if you're not mostly done with CoP.

Re: The truth about Body Slam?

Myself and another BLU (we had 8 people, these are hard) got it from the Mount Zhaylom dragon on our first try. Fortunately, I was warned ahead of time that it has a move that does approximately 100 damage for every buff you have on. So we forewent Shell and were prepared for the healing as soon as he did it. These aren't fun to fight so I was thankful we got it on the first one.

Actually, no. The mobs in Double Dragonian do Heavy Stomp, an "imitation" Body Slam which is also done by the dragons in Xarc. The animation and AOE damage is the same, but the name is different so you can't learn it. I was pretty sure the Enhanced Dragon in Temenos used Heavy Stomp as well, but maybe not. I'm also not sure about Ash Dragon in Ifrits Cauldron.

The Mt. Z/Assault dragons are called Dahak, not Zombie Dragon.
