Easy Blu question.

I've read that you do NOT have to be the target of an ability in order to get it, and that you only need to be in viewing range. Now does this mean that I can learn spells while watching other parties fight or do I have to atleast be in the same party?

you, or your PT has to have claimed the monster :x, you cant watch people fight monsters and learn it
