    Re: Solo or party?

It might take more time, and it might not.

You definitly can solo to 20, but the grind will be somewhat more present as youll be all alone and thus you can only kill EP - EM, and sometimes T

Keep grinding and keep your party flag up, if the party is good, stay with them, if its not so good, just leave =p

A level 12 BLU can solo a lot of things. Just move into one of the intermediate areas like Tahrongi Canyone, La Theine Plateau or Konschtat Highlands. The mobs near the entrance will be EP-DC for you, and as you move further out from the entrance, you'll find stronger and stronger mobs. Around level 15-16 or so you won't find anything tougher than DC or the occasional EM, but that's still enough for you to get good exp while solo.

As you reach 17 and beyond, you can move into Valkurm or Buburimu and take on the lower leveled mobs there (Rarabs, Lizards, Mandies, and some lower tier gobs like Ambushers and Tinkerers). That should enable you to reach 20 relatively easily. It won't be fast, but you can do it it.

I'd say against this, a lvl 10-12 blu mage should visit all the beastmen strongholds to get their lvl 12 spells. Gelshba, the Yagaudo one and the Quaqdav one - you have various choices with the Yagaudo(just off East Sarutabaruta) and Quadav(up that mountain thingy, or into the various mines) Just make sure you get these beastmen special moves before you advance, they are all useful.

                  Re: Solo or party?

Oh, those are great places to level as well, no doubt. He didn't mention which spells he did and didn't have yet though, so I didn't want to suggest something he didn't need.

Even better, the mobs there are in great numbers and they die quickly, which makes for great exp. Unfortunately, some areas can be incredibly crowded (Giddeus and Ghelsba for instance), which can make for frustrating experience.
