How effective is Sheep song?

I've been in a few parties recently where the puller has brought back more than one friend and I've been using Sheep Song to try and sleep the links. I can land it on the mobs most of the time but it does'nt last long at all, maybe about 10 second. I don't know how this conmpares to the blm Sleep but thats a bit too short. Is this spell just rather uneffective or do I have to little tp or the sleeps getting semi resisted? Normally happens after I've rested so I have no or little tp.

Test test test!

Grab you shiny poker and sleep a rabbit. Count the seconds.. then follow the steps:

1. Sleep another rabbit. Then count the seconds, kill it.
2. Another rabbit... do the same.
3. Repeat.
4. Repeat
5. Now you have 5 rabbits and you can guesstimate how long the next one will be asleep.

Now, go get 100% tp, and sleep 5 other rabbits allways with 100%ish tp.

Now you have knowledge to share: does 100% tp affect it?

Now, for the hardest longest most tiresome part: get 300% tp and sleep 5 other rabbits.

Now, you have attained knowledge that you will most probably benefit from more than not!

And, you can make rabbit soup for 15 tarus! :D

Ok, I'll try that when I leave Qufim. Do the rabbits have to be any special level of difficulty? Does the day matter as well? I've heard some spell are better on the day of the same element.

I used it when I got a link soloing EM-Ts in Valkurm. Didn't have any problems sticking every time but I had the same problems you mentioned with duration, it just didn't last long enough. I needed to try and heal some more MP to handle 2 mobs but they kept waking up before I got enough MP back, ended up needing to zone them, luckly I was right near the zone at the time.

Saved my bacon when I linked Tonberry at I believe 56. The sleep lasted near full 30 seconds both times.
