Hysteric Barrage - any one learned it?

i just go try as lv 68 blu/whm today with mi friend, spend more than 4 hrs there kill many many of Merrow and break almost half of hundred of merrow weapon and see that skill many many time alsot hit by this skill 2 time, but not learn.... any thing wrong w, i learn another tail slap in 7-8 mob since start, but this skill is not til veryone tired. anyone learn this? what lv u learn, how much time u spen on this?!?

You can only learn Tail Slap from Merrow. Hysteric Barrage is from Lamia only.
Warm-up is only from melee Mamool and Firespit only from Mage mamool.
Diamondhide only from armored trolls and Enervation only from unarmored.

I got mine from the two Lamias in Caederva Mire, right outside the zone to Arrapogo stick. 1/2.

Warm-up is only from melee Mamool and Firespit only from Mage mamool.

Then I assume jobs Wyverns list as "Hybrrid" use both? Because I know Ninja use warm-up and Firespit in Imperial Agent Rescue.

I think he was saying you can only learn those abilities from the certain classes/types of monster. like clusters self-destruct but you can't learn it from them(i believe) only bomb family monsters.

Correct, even though both Merrow and Lamia use Hysteric Barrage and Tail Slap, you can only learn from a particular class, same applies to the other expansion beastmen.

An interesting note is how Firespit varies from melee to mage. The melee version is absorbed by 3 shadows if I recall correctly, while the mage Firespit ignores shadows (doesn't cancel it either). It can do up to 500-600 damage so be careful.

Also, BLU Mamool counts as melee. The BLM and WHM Mamool (who wears staves and that blueish outfit) are the mages.

Thank you again, get it last nigt after kill about only 4 of lamia and broke 3 of them weapon, after kill more than 4 hr on uncountable merrow with no learn. so confirmed ^^
