Passing Level caps as blu

I finally managed to pass the blu questions and unlocked the job. I really like it, got up to lvl14 yesterday and got all my spells to lvl12 and some of the later ones as well. However I read that most stuff for blu has not been put in yet and if blu is the first job I take to the level caps, will I be able to do the quest for them? If the stuff is not in yet, about how long does it take for extra stuff to be added in?

A extra question, what rings should I go for as blu? I'm thinking of going for either strength or dex, maybe mnd or mp if I go support.

You should be able to do G1-G4. There is currently no G5 for the new jobs so if BLU is your highest job, you will be stuck capped at 70 until it is added.

Of course, even when it is you still might be stuck capped at 70 for a bit

Yes, you can do the level caps up to 70. It dosn't matter what job you are, you just need to talk to Maat at the appropriate levels to get the quest. You can get the G5 quest from maat, however, you can't finish it, because there are no monsters in the game yet that drop a Blue Mage's Testimony.

this is a big reason why i'm taking my time with BLU, i want the AF when i can use it, not at lvl 70 :p, and i dun wanna be stuck for months unable to fight maat, only to be stuck for months unable to beat maat.
