Hey guys

I was playing around with this thing and at first I thought it was CHR that was affecting the resist rate and then BLU. However at one point I started doing it in front of the mob and it seems not to resist so much. Is anyone else experiiencing similiar results?

Just a key note to identify with this as a sort of reminder, the game does reconize position of player to mob as well as distance from mob. So I see no reason why they couldn't take this information and factor it into certain conditions.

Many times when I range a mob I've been noticing what seems like a difference in accuracy if I'm standing in front of to the side or behind the mob. So I wouldn't be surprised if some similar effect would happen with Blue spells.

The petrify spell the mobs have come in two styles if I remember right, one will just flat out petrify the other only petrifies if you are facing the mob and standing in front of. Anyway just something extra to consider.

Yeah, I was thinking about it because abilities like Mortal Ray, where if you see him do it (face to face) you get the effect and if you don't see him when he does it you don't get the effect.

I didn't want to say anything 100% so that's why I wanted to ask the other BLUs around and see if they are experiencing the same thing.

BLU has a few LOS skills (line of sight) where the enemy has to be facing you for it to work.

The two most obvious ones are Jettatura and Chaotic Eye.

Note that the enemy has to be facing you but YOU don't have to be facing the enemy.
