You CAN learn with a high levle person in party, so if you want to prevent yourself leveling up to get the ability, thats the way to go.

I had a rush last night Head Butt, Battle Dance, Sheep Song and Helldive all learned at level 9

Now I am working on Healing Brease, but I am getting exp to get my level up to 12 before I start trying.

Just a note it seems that the magic /check rating for learnign spells is tough to even match. Anything higher or lower seems to give me trouble learning skills when its just me or me and my fiance.

For my part head butt was one of the worst, took me about 3 hours >< (of course pollen was along those lines too)

EDIT: Oh heck, i just read the following post and didnt want to make another post just for this but yeah, it took me like 5 friggin hours to get blastbomb, those damned machines rarely spawn and hell, it took me 17 attempts (and i mean 17 times they actually did the attack) to learn it >< And god, it took like 4-8 ws's before they would do blastbomb, they just kept spamming burst and fountain over and over ><)

I learned bloodsuck 10 levels early.. Still don't have battledance and headbutt. 14 blu atm

i have all speels but queasyshroom up till lvl 8 tier, then i have battle dance (second try and learned it) and feather storm (first try) queasyshroom is the only one thats taken me more than 1 and a half hours, metallic body was second longest, (inly lvl 10 blu atm)

Went at it for 6 hours and I still dont have blast bomb

I started a party group of 4 blue mages to get blast bomb... all other 3 blue mages got it. I did not. ; ;

Make sure you check your list from time to time, I spent five hours on tigers and had the spell already. Uppercut is pretty hard to get if you're in Rolanberry. There's a lot of running involved and competition between people just passing by. They also didn't want to use it. =/

The biggest cluprit is weapon skills. If you use a weapon skill, it will often display the "You learned <X>!" before the WS if it will kill the mob, and then scroll off your log in the following damage/death spam. I had like two slip by me that way >.<

Yes i imagine getting blu magic from farming mobs must be hard since you have to search a bit for gobbues

Coupled with the fact gobbues are routinely farmed for seeds makes it even more fun

One of my tips when farming them or in this case finding them to learn magic, people on my server never go down to the southern end to where Pashow Marshlands begins i tend to find them there everyone is so concentrated near jueno and near CN that they tend to forget the south...
