Burst Affinity is level 25, and Chain Affinity is level 40. So unfortunately, there will be no self-skillchains + magic burst until that point, sadly.

Red lotus blade + (chain affinity) Jet stream - fusion SC, and then you can MB (Burst affinity) bomb toss or something.

Please, for the sake of every blu who doesnt have access to sacrarium, CHANGE the places where blus can learn Frightful Roar, since it CANNOT be learned in Phomiuna, because of the lvl cap 40, which at lvl 40, only lets us learn magics 8 lvls above ours.

Uleguerand Range is another area to learn that spell though if you dont have access to sacrarium, so please add this to the list.

Its probably the same for Filamented Hold too, it cant be learned in Phomiuna, due to the same reasons as Frightful Roar :p

Only learn magics 8 lvls above? There must be a mistake because @ lvl 35 I was 1/2 on learning Blitzstrahl (lvl 44) from the Dolls in Lower Delkfurts Tower. Thats a 9 lvl difference.

I meant at lvl 40 and more :p

From what ive heard you can learn 10 lvls above up until 39, then from 40 to 49 its 8 lvls, and then at 50+ something like 5 or 6, im not too sure...

bludgeon can also be learned from the 'three' cardians. That's how i got mine. in the top set of ruins in east saruta.

I have leveled Blue to level 10 and still no spells. I've stood there and let rabs bitchslap me silly. I've been bombtossed, whrilclawed, headbutted and a whole host of other moves and not learned one single spell. what am I doing wrong?

Some of those spells are too hard for you. Try getting Pollen from bees, thats a lvl1 spell and is relatively easy to learn and then spam it outside a mog house until you've capped your blu magic. There's a lot of luck in learning the spells too, I spent 7hours trying to get Healing Breeze, while people lower lvls than me would learn them first time and my blu skill was capped. All the others except Cursed Shere I got pretty quickly.

On Allakhazam, someone posted learning Tail Slap in Besieged. My advice would be to go in as BLU, run around and spam Battle Dance/Sandspin. Low damage = low hate, and the AoE means you tag a lot of mobs.
