A few Questions...

1. Will the BLU be an advanced job? (I would guess yes, but I may be wrong)

2. I am not a really high level. (I'm a ****ing n00b) I got to Lv 30 BLM on the beta for the Xbox 360, and then it ended. But hey it's still high enough to get any Adv job. Okay, yeah, number 2, how would a BLU/BLM combo perform? I would think that I could benefiet from having two good DDs.

3. I know this is off topic, but how do you get a World Pass and how much is it? I wasn't here when you had to choose a server for the retail game when the beta ended and I want to play on Titan with my friend. SE said I would get put into the server with the highest population.

Into the server with the lowest population. Worlpasses are fairly cheap for anyone who has played the game for a month, and can be aquired at any of the three main cities, for sure.

BLU will be an advanced job, but no one has really gotten to play with BLU yet, so its hard to say if BLU will do well at all with a mage sub. As its "supposed" to be a front line mage, you may find any DD (especially war or nin), or any mage as a sub to it.

Really, it depends entirely on how the player base sees the job and what they find as the twinkiest way to use it. That will set the stage for whether or not it becomes a true DD, a tank, a healer, or what have you. And trust me, if there is a loophole in the system that makes it -really- good at a specific task, the players will find it and expect it to be used. NIN tank anyone?

Blue mage will be both a physical damage dealer, and a front line magic dealer. I would think you may need either a thief sub for physical damage to participate in SC's. I believe SE wanted you to be versitile and change subs to suit the need of your party. Most likely it will also depend on what you learn from the mobs you kill, for example, you may be a good tank if you learned that skill from the crabs early on in Valkurm, but change to a magic dealer after you learn Battery Charge.

If your in the beta you need to head over to several of the areas to look for a guy in red armor. In windurst he is located in windurst walls, near the star tree. I'm not sure for other locations, perhaps someone will be able to tell us where they are located at. Make sure you do so before the time expires or your character will not be able to move to a new server, I think you can choose whichever server you want. I'm not sure if you will be able to use the Gold Pass functionality of it, unless it is a NEW account with a NEW character. You should contact SE and ask them for us so that we can find out and learn if it would help or not.

Thanks, and I did call SE asking if they could possibly put my character on the Titan server with my friend but they said they where unable to do that. They said that I would just be randomly put in the server with the highest population and the only way to get to Titan would be if my friend got a World Pass for me.

BTW, do BLUs use magic? If so, I hope Hume would be an okay race for it as it is with any other Mage.

By "use magic?" I mean that do they have those little green bars under their HP bars that drain when they cast their copy or mime spells? I think it's called an MP bar.
