ASA blm pants any good?

Sooo... I'm thinking the +4 macc / +4 mab / +2 int looks pretty good. Would these pants be better than the errant pants? Better than the jet? I'm asking about errant because i haven't wanted to spend 200k for the jet, lol... Blm's sound off!

I'd take the movement speed if you're serious about BLM.

Herald's gaiters are better, but for people who don't have 15 mil lying around it's a good option.

Meh. Movement speed is good for soloing, not necessary for end game activities.

lol, not really.

When doing sky, sea, missions, quests, etc, I dont have much need for movement speed. I'd rather have MAB. The only time you'd need + movement speed is when you have something chasing you. If you can nuke properly and ride the hate line, you won't have anything chasing you, unless you are soloing which I stated earlier.

Also, if memory serves, then at skill 200+ 1 int=0.9MAcc, so Errant's are effectively MAcc +6.3 except that you also push your int closer to the inflection point above which you hit diminishing returns of int on (~120int for HNM is the rule of thumb) and if far short of there (specific examples being Kirin and the few other level 90+ mobs) you are closer to the threshold int where resists fall off.

If you really want MAcc/skill on your legs then Nashira (limbus) are a good call or for MAcc/MAB then Valkyries/Shadow (Einherjar).

If you are after a bridging piece then there are worse decisions, just depends how hard it is to remake them for you.

If you are doing strait BLM pants I would go MAB+4, Movement speed +8. If you feel that you are really lacking MACC I would just stay with errant/mahatma. You won't be using these pants for enfeebling or dark because of better options (Iqgira legs and AF1 pants). The easy to obtain movement speed is too good to pass up. Not only is it a godsend for soloing but is very nice just for getting from place to place.

There's different facets to blm. There's soloing/low manning, which gaiters are extremely useful. There's also HNM's, which they're not so useful. It's all dependent on what you do more on blm.

I'm borrowing a friends gaiters, but I don't solo as much as I used to.

Are you even reading my posts or just picking parts and responding??? My whole point was that the only thing the + movement speed is good for (besides being able to get from place to place more quickly) is for soloing wihch I don't do. I stated that. Look, see it. it's right there. Kaeko's all about soloing. You even stated that. So again, besides soloing, which i dont do, movement speed is not important for BLM.

Like people have said, it's more of a situation thing.

I'd go movement speed due to the fact that most of the things I did in-game were low man or solo, but if you do a lot of HNM or places where BLM really doesn't need to kite or run like a sissy. Go MAB.

@Malacite: The boots didn't make Kaeko that good, he's just pure good at BLM. I'm not going to end up soloing Bhaflau just because I got some pretty movement speed.

Edit: Well damn, I completely missed the date on this post.. I just saw Bolded post title in BLM forums and got excited.
