Low-level BLM gear -can I solo?

New to BLM, just hit 32 yesterday, here's the gear I currently have...

Yew Yand +1 (INT+4, MND+4)
Mage's Tunic (INT+2)
Black Cape (INT+2)
Shaman's Belt (INT+1)
Seer's Mitts (INT+1, MND+1)
Seer's Slacks (INT+1)
Eremite's Ring x 2 (INT+4)
Onyx Ring x 2
Sandals

Gonna pick up the Solid Wand (Club, INT+5, MND+5), but besides that and spells, can I stick with this gear before going AF, and if I choose to do so, can I effectively solo? If so, whereabouts? I'm guessing Qufim/Delkfutts....

Have fun soloing! Since the release of Treasures it's been really hard for BLMs to level quickly (unless you manage to find a static). If you can find a duo partner it'll help things go quicker too.

Ya parties are slow going inbetween 60-65. since most people level up on higher level birds that reflect magic.

Now that I think about it, around 64-68 you manage to get parties again up on Mt. Z fighting erucas, crabs and pugils. Nice 'n squishy!

...and good overnuke training too 'cause if you bomb them too hard you'll probably get one-shotted by Incinerate or Screwdriver.

thanks for the tips ppl...I hit 33 1/2 yesterday so I'm gonna try and find a duo partner and head Attowha and see how it goes...REALLY liking BLM, since I can hit IT mobs in Behemoth's Dominion for 125-150 with Stone/Water II...never realized a mage could be so powerful!
