How to kite as BLM/WHM?

Ok, any quick responses will do since we're gonna start in a couple of hours.

Do you guys have any tips for kiting as 60 blm/whm? I'm working on CoP 5-3, and apparently, none of the moblin BC mobs are sleepable. So basically, I'm one of the people assigned to kite a moblin.

So far, what I have is:

(self)

Blink >> Stoneskin >> Ice Spikes

(mob)

Blind >> Bind >> Stun

And before anybody asks, no. My ninja is not 12+ >.<

Any tips/hints/help is appreciated.

i think your on the money with that one. not much else you can do as a blm/whm to kite a mob

It's a bitch. I'm the only person in the group who doesn't have ninja past 12. All I need to do is last long enough for someone to kill or 2 moblins, then I'm in the clear.

Two words: Hermes Quencher.

On Midgardsormr it's 20k/each, kinda expencive I know, but it;s worth the win. It gives you Medicated status, but it also gives you Flee effect if something goes wrong. If you don't need to use it just sell it back when your done.

when I did this the blm was the on actually not to kite lol thf rdm smn kited while the nin rng(me) and blm slaughtered

This set-up was a bit different. Basically, we had BLM, BLM, WHM, RDM, NIN, NIN

Me and the other blm called a time and casted freeze on the BLM moblin. We killed him off, then everyone grabbed a seperate moblin. The rdm grabbed the bugbear.

So basically, it wasn't that bad. All me and the other blm had to do was bind the moblin thief. Bind lasted pretty long, so by the time it wore off after I casted it, the other blm would bind him.

Overall, it was a fun fight! We're probably gonna use the same tactic for the mammets.
