    Farming as BLM?

    BLM's expense seems to come from the constant barrage of new spells every few levels and some are really quite expensive.. I'm BLM38 highest job is WHM63 highest melee is NIN42 and plus I have attention problem so farming I find difficult.. would people recommend certain things to farm on as a BLM or should I stick to crafts and tele-whoring from Jeuno and Whitegate

    heh, id stick to crafting and telewhoring O.o i probably make more money sitting on my butt in aht urghan, than i would farming :x bolts ftw.

    but if you do wanna farm, i suggest cralwers :x

      Yeah crafting is good. Now if you farm for your materials.. then it's even better. However, If your thf is not lv15+ it's not going to really matter. Treasure Hunter is very very very helpfull when farming.

      You can always do quest and missions. You can get utsusemi: Ichi (sp?) from norg, as well as most ichi quest (some rusty leg quest). If nin is not your thing, you can sell them. And when your blm is high enough to really farm well, then just buy it back.

      There is a bard song (sells really well), that you can get (sandy quest?), you just need to gather different parties (all same race, all same job, and all....?).

        yarr.. i've job hopped a bit on my time in the game.. NIN42 WHM63 being some of them meaning i did all the scroll quests and used them lol..
        Well I craft scorp. arrows I can make 250k out of one session I just have to count on people buying them quickly >.<

          heh, theyre good, because of the RA+, so rng spam those, then use a demon, or kabura for WS's :O

            Cheap to make too
            just time consuming, especially if you are like me and make your own lumber.

              Yup XD Lumberjack saves a lot of inventory room XD

              Heck you should have said you're high level'ish WW... craft man craft. Send stacks of arrows to your mule to get put in quivers. That'll save you inventory space.. and you can still use the quiver when you're selling them (incase you prefer to sell per 99stack)

                yup thats what I do.. well I have 55inventory and craft in event clothes so i have like 50 free spaces, so I get what I need and craft next to the quiverer..

                I'm lv59 Woodworking.. So takes a long time but I can make "meh" ok gil.. I've gotta save up for all my AM (lv41 atm) and gear.. then Weskit and Errants etc. I've got a KS merc LS waiting for me to hit 73 so once I get into that I can pay to take my crafts higher ^^v

                  Keep checking the AH for the price to dip! I checked one day like 2 weeks ago: Weskit = 2.5 mil, I checked last week: Weskit = 600k (I bought one as fast as my shaking hand would enter the 600k bid). XD

                  I guess there are an abundance of dragon talons (or w/e the main thing is) due to some I.P. bcnm type fight. So for the love of god, before SE nerfs the drop rate on them.. but low.

                    yea Weskit is 3mil on UNICORN but then the other day my friend (BLM68) was checking and it had dropped to 1mil.. he was on the LS "OMG OMG SOMEONE LOAN ME 500k!!" lol so he got his Weskit 2mil cut ^^
                    I hope I have the same type of luck >.> lol
                    I level fast, so I will probably level during the day and craft at night to save up for my highbie gear.

                      oh man buy it now lol worst case... you end up hating blm.. you'll sell it for a nice profit. Just IMO anyway
