Ok, for about 3 months I have not been able to figure this out, maybee I missed something, maybee theres a bug, maybee I am just blind? Well I dont know, so in a last ditch effort before I decide to never get my BLM AF I will ask here.
Background:
I have done all WHM and SMN AF, all Quests for them are closed and completed.
I had a problem with WHM AF a while back that a GM had to resolve, the quest (Hands) was complete even though I had not got the mitts. A GM opend the quest and I got my mitts. He wasent sure why It happend but it was resolved.
I say this just in-case there is a real problem here.
Ok so I know I have to go to Windy to get my AF Weapon. I went to windy, talked to Chumimi, he sent me to fight the chaos elemental. I went to Xacabard as my SMN72 and got a Glowstone. Talked to Chumimi again and got my AF1 (Weapon). Now heres where the problem starts.
Now I go to Guslam in Lower jeuno to start the AF Hands Quest. I read this:
"Go to Upper Jeuno and speak to Guslam at the armor shop. A cutscene will occur and he'll say that there's a rumor that Borghertz's gloves were somewhere in Garlaige Citadel."
So I do, but no CS apears, he just says "So I have seen the hands of Borghertz's" yada yada, same thing he said when I completed my SMN and WHM hands quest.
BTW I am BLM and am lvl 52 at the time. So I zone and try again, same thing, so I level to 54 (Just while I was trying to figure this out), I go talk to him again and he says the same thing as last time:
"So I have seen the hands of Borghertz's"
So I figure well maybee I allready got the CS and did not notice, so I go farm a coffer key and get the coffer chest in Garlige, I get gil...
By this time I am now 57 and I go to him again, same thing:
"So I have seen the hands of Borghertz's"
I go to the box in Port Jeuno and click it to see if maybee something would happend, and still nothing. I even went to try and pop Dark Spark, and I was unable to pop him.
I figure well maybee lets try another AF quest, I try for the AF Boots. I go to Ru'Lude and talk to Laityn, she says nothing about AF... But as I read on the net I go to Crawler's Nest and kill a Water Elemental. I find a "Bag of Seeds".
I then go back to windy and give it to Chumimi. He/she will not take it. I try and trade it and it closes the screen....
Ok so now I am frusterated and I decide to re-do the first quest in case I did somthing wrong or somthing, I completely redo my AF weapon (I tossed my old one), I get a new one and try and talk to Guslam again,, same thing:
"So I have seen the hands of Borghertz's"
I recheck ALL of my quests for SMN and WHM and they are all closed and complete.
At this point I think maybee theres a problem like when I was getting my WHM AF, so I call a GM, After exsplaining my full story he tells me that theres a pre-req missing. So I went and researched over many sites everything I could about it, I have done every step I have seen. And still nothing. So at this point I am asking you guys, is there somthing I am missing? Please help me out. I would like my BLM AF.
