Picking up BLM soon again, a few questions.

Hello Black mages,

At this moment I have black mage at level 41 as I have leveled it as a subjob for white mage mostly.
I'm planning to take this job to 75 however I have no idea on how to gear my blm.

I'm a Mithra so I do know there are differences on how to gear it up per race.
I just have no idea on what the best gear per level would be.
I'm not rich so please affordable gear
I have all NQ elemental staves and do not really have the money to replace them all with the HQ tho I am planning to.
Please advise me. ^^

HQ staves is not needed, it's a luxery, same as some of the other high price BLM items like penitent's rope and River Gaiters.

As for most armor, I used mostly Seer's Tunic untill lv 50, then changed it for Tac Mac Coat for the +1. The Seer's head Crown will last you untill lv AF hat, same if you got Seer's Mitts +1, those will only be raplaced by AF gloves.

A few peices you might want to have:
Black Silk Neckerchief (Quest)
HQ INT rings
Morion Tathlum
Cunning Earring (Quest one, buy one)
Black Cloak +1

Focus on:
Spells, remember to update your spell list before you upgrade your equipment

I'm happy I save all that gear for lvl capped things like BCNMs and CoP.
Good to know that stuff will last me quite a while.
So you recommend I'd use Seer's mitts (+1) over RSE gauntlets?

I used the Seer's Mitts +1 because I got them very cheap, but you might want to get them and macro them in after you use the MP boost from RSE.

BLM can use most all the WHM gear, you just need to change cape, rings and necklace.
Both jobs uses the same +INT/+MND wand and basicly the same body armor parts.

As for the following items:
HQ INT rings
Morion Tathlum
Black Cloak +1

They can be a little pricy, Tathlum dropped in price on Remora after the 700 banning, the HQ rings can be pretty pricy, lv 36 ring, and on Remora the Black Cloak +1 is going for 100K, you can use the Black Cloak, it's very cheap, I only upgraded because I had the gil.

Shaman Cloak and Mold earring <sp> is great for blm, but you gotta camp those, its a mid level NM spawn at Quicksand for Cloak and Onzozo for earring, Whm/nin can easily solo those 2 nm and they are free.
