Dose bio cancel oit dia if both used? or visevirsa?

And the spells like... frost, burn... rasp... can u only use on in a fight... or can u use them all with out any getting canceld out?

im not sure if there is a thread already like this.. i dont know were teh search button is.. so plz dont tell me to search -_- but u could be awesome and answer ym question and also tell me were the search button =D

Dia or bios will knock the other off. Only use one or the other.

I do belive burn, rasp, etc stack Not sure on that tho as I dont like being a BLM.

dia < bio < dia2 < bio2. the right overwrite the left in that order.

as for frost/rasp etc, they can work together in groups of 3 and in pair.
frost+shock+rasp
burn+choke+drown
these 3 will work together. I can't remember what pair works tho. Someone will be able to tell you that.

Bio II > Dia II > Bio > Dia = Diaga

Elemental debuffs will cancel and prevent the use of any other elemental debuff they are "strong" against.

For instance, if you cast Shock (lightning) on a target, attempting to cast Drown (water) against the same target will fail with a "Your spell has no effect." since lightning is strong against water. Casting Rasp (earth) on that target will cancel the Shock, since earth is strong to lightning.

Ok im a lvl 62 Blm on the odin server and yes Bio and Dia cancel each other

As far as the DoT spells they stack as follows

Shock,Burn,Choke
Frost,Rasp,Drown

you use then in these orders because Shock lowers mnd making them less resistant to magic Burn lowers there int making them weaker to your spells and Choke lowers Vitality making your melee do more damage. on the other hand Frost lowers Agi making them better to hit (Frost can choke can me sometimes interchanged) Resp lowers dex making them less able to hit your melees and or tank and Drown lowes there Chr. yes some spells like rasp and shock will cancel each other that is why you dont use them in the same stack of spells if you use the first Chain (my personal best) it will lower you mob making you hit stronger and your melees his stronger so you can get faster chains and less battle time which forms to be a good quick lvling XP party

Simple breakdown going back to the games elements, just about everything revolves around this.

Elemental Wheels:

Fire->Ice->Wind->Earth->Thunder->Water->Fire
STR->INT->AGI->VIT->DEX->MND->STR (Stat to Element Association)

Light->Dark->Light
Attack->Defense->Attack


Now Dia (Light) and Bio (Dark) easy to see why they overwrite.

Now for the 2 groups of 3 that's easy as well:

Fire->Ice->Wind->Earth->Thunder->Water
Burn->Frost->Choke->Rasp->Shock->Drown
Stats Effected: STR->INT->AGI->VIT->DEX->MND

Bolded is 1/2 group of 3 and not bolded is the 2/2 group of 3. Now for the 3 groups of 2 setup, you have:

Fire->Ice->Wind->Earth->Thunder->Water
Burn->Frost->Choke->Rasp->Shock->Drown
Stats Effected: STR->INT->AGI->VIT->DEX->MND

Fire->Ice->Wind->Earth->Thunder->Water
Burn->Frost->Choke->Rasp->Shock->Drown
Stats Effected: STR->INT->AGI->VIT->DEX->MND

Fire->Ice->Wind->Earth->Thunder->Water
Burn->Frost->Choke->Rasp->Shock->Drown
Stats Effected: STR->INT->AGI->VIT->DEX->MND

Again bolded are the 2 that can pair up.

Get the picture now?

EDIT:

Changed the Stats Bolded and added more detail, The stats line up to what element governs them. So obviously if you burn it's going to effect the stat to the element that is weaker.
