i got 1281 with moldavite and republic circlet at 51 with NQ staff, never gotten higher though, then again, only MB freeze for maybe 2 pts between 50-53.

i freeze in exp pt, but more often than not it's advised to reset hate, go back and get the exp, rest with dark staff and wait for next one, its a repetitive cycle, and does it work? yup, you kill off a mob at 40% of it's health, allows for chaining, but rather difficult to pull off on an IT++


nowadays it's better to kill IT or VT imo, and VT go byebye pretty fast at my finger tips, sometimes i do refuse to freeze unless there's a rdm for my mp, unless its like.. a necessity

Well, I am Elvaan *ahem* and I did 1120 without Food on a Freeze MB and I think I forgot to stick on Ice staff... But anyways, this is very true.

I've not used AM magic bursts that often, but 1200 isn't hard to reach with an Aquilo's staff and moldavite earring plus other +int equipment. Can hit some really high numbers if republic circlet and sorcerer's ring are active.

In manaburns with my standard equipment freeze will land for around 1004-ish.

My level 54 taru blm did a 1320 freeze MB the other day...i was using Melon Pie +1 and ice staff and lot of other +INT stuff.

It is fully possible with the right equips at that level. now did he have those...I dont know. If it didnt that is BS, but the fact of MB 1200 with freeze at that level is fully possible.

That's not impossible to beleive I guess. At lv55~ish? I did 1500~ dmg Flood MB against Robber Crabs during exp, it's not Freeze but something similar eh?

Was in Kuftal killing crabs at 52, I did consistent 1200-1250 Freeze MB, had about +27-30 int, Aquilo's Staff, Moldavite, and one elemental skill merit (from RDM).

It's easily doable but you need certain things such as well good equipment and maybe merits?

Plus beetles are weak to ice so I can see that.

I was MBing freeze for almost1,100 at lvl 51, my gear wasnt that good and there was no bard in group, if you enfeeble a mob with Burn and Ice Threnody it perfectly reasonable to get 1200MB at level 50, and if theres something like doube ice weather going on its even more possible.

I'm a 75 but I was doing Freeze for 800 on Ouryu CoP consistantly as a hume. I trully think I capped it cause it was doing 800 every single time. Even when he did stoneskin I did 450 which proves Ouryu has capped Stoneskin ^^

It's not impossible. People forget these additional factors when seeing high numbers like this:

• A monster's resistivity (General Elemental and Specific) against the spell used.
• The time of day (It is rumored that within the course of a day, there are elemental attributes aligned with the hours akin to zodiacal symbology in many asian cultures)
• The day of the week (All days are based on an elemental attribute in this game)
• The moon phase (It is rumored that this has some effect, but there are no documentation of any tests to prove this claim)
• A monster's current status and any kind of infliction and/or negativity related to a buff or debuff that the monster received (i.e., Defender has the negative property of lower attack rating while the defense rating is increased)
• The general direction which the BLM was facing when casting the spell (Directional correlation with elemental attributes have been proven in crafting and may also be present in fighting)
• General equipment stats of a monster (Yes, monsters have an equipment rating, even non-beastmen types)
• Level of the monster in comparison with the BLM casting the spell.

There's probably a couple more, but this list is more than sufficient as a "food for thought" type of rebuttal.

Yes its possible for Freeze to MB that high is seen it go up to 1000+. With HQ Ice Staff I think it can be done sure. BLM do nice damage.
