sword skill ???

I have sword lved to 40 with other jobs. Seen a sword for BLM and thought hmmmmm. might be cool to try solo with this just to see. Well spent 2.5 k( BLM is 21) I went out used it got TP to 100 and hit weapon skills and behold no weapon skill.

now why they give blm a damn sword to use and not let us use the weapon skill?

Bought a Wize Wizard's Bilbo at lv55 'cause I wanted to solo and farm with dual swords to look cool, but meh.... no WS. Pissed me off, but I kept it for a month - sold it for 5k more.

You get the sword skill of your subjob. If you sub RDM (or any job with the skill) you'll get it's sword skill.
