EDIT: I just went and RTFA on the update. We get the sythe skill as BLM.


I guess it'd be kinda fun to be able to go around slicing low level mobs and pretend I am the taru AA.... but I kinda doubt the skill will have its use in EXP'ing. guess we will see...

All depends on what scythes you get to use and if they have any additional abilities with them.

might be handy for low lvl farming, Spirit Taker is more handy for farming at higher lvls then guillotiene i'd assume. I'm interested to see what grade Blm's will get in scythe skill, probably low

Well it always bothered me that Blm monsters such as skeletons could use scythes while players couldn't.

Also intrestingly the new armor in the pictures is lvl 73 Jse

Yea the scythe upgrade sucks. With E skill we probably wont get the SP or EX WS's. That means we cant get the quested WS and we'll be stuck with Vorpal as our best WS. -.-;
The bio upgrade was disapointing (I expected to do more damage with cap dark skill..)

However... that armor is great. I want me some of that. ^^

That scythe is definitely the best farming weapon till you can learn Spirit Taker. Unless it's cheap though I doubt it'll be worth the bother, seeing as our skill would be at 0 until then unless we have DRK or BST leveled up... but if you did, why melee-farm as BLM?

At leastwe can look 10% evil-er.

Guilotine is dark only... bst don't have it, war don't have it, why would blm with an E skill have it? (Before you start getting mad you should find some information regarding what your mad about)

At least when my blm get's high enough I can use all the benefits of an abyssal earring ^^. Right now my rdm has 99 Scythe skill >.>

Now I think Summoners need Great Swords, bards need Two handed Axes, and rdm's need Staff skill and swords they can actually obtain that don't cost 500-1mil gil or require 6 or more people to fight.
