rune axe

I've seen this thing around in Jeuno Ah and it is the only axe that a blm can equip. going to be very strange to see a blm swinging around an axe and equipping a shield.... lol stuff I didn't know blm could use.

Anyways, I am wondering why blm can use this thing other than for maybe farming with the latent regen effect.

I've also heard rumors that rune equippment gives a hidden refresh effect. Is that what this axe is for? (mystery tour says *all others are 2mp/3sec) (is that refresh?)

I've searched a lot of places and can't find any solid info. What's this rune stuff for?

Rune stuff drain your MP, not give you MP. Ive also noticed BLM can use other Rune things as well, such as bows and arrows (we have no ranged skill).
