    Early BLM experiences

    I think that basically every PT knows the importance of a BLM. Interestingly enough, as a lvl 7, i got a pt invite from an Elvaan WAR. We both went to that hill near the Bastok Market and OWNED!!!

    I was impressed with myself, and i had grand visions of more to come! My ally always attacked first, usually with voke, then I did Blind, Poison, then Stone until i killed it, or felt i did enough. And damn... I have so much MP its disgusting!

    I'm also proud of myself being on my own for the first time- I have an Ash Wand (+1 to Mind and Int... i think its Ash Wand... ;__; ), and I have the ring that gives +1 to INT (cost me 900, =D those fools undercharged!) a robe and basic taru clothing. Unfortunatly, no Taru ring, and i felt i had to sacrifice that to start in a familiar country.

    I want to post that. I see that on this board are many experienced BLM. One question is- how do you find restraint NOT to break out the big damage abilities just to keep hate balance? IS it from knowledge of knowing what happens when we get hit? =P

    hehe....It's hard to restrain sometimes, (I love seeing a monster's health bar drop drastically from a nuke or MB Nuke) but after getting killed numerous times, you learn to hold back until the end.:spin:

      I don't use the windurst ring as a mage past lvl 10 anyway, and youre almost there so no worries

      I had an early BLM experience, I died a lot at lvl 8, an awful lot, I had to get really lucky to kill DC and EM, and then resting to full mp. Such a sad lvl...oh I could cry a little bit more...

        oh, i'm crying now. I'm lvl 7, and killing EP and DC can only hold me so far. At least i'm still getting 72xp from some of them. I'm really happy, now that i've gotten RDM to lvl 5. Made me appreciate having 17 or so Int (i think i have a total of +3 INt and the normal Taru Skills).

        And my first pt was me lvl 3 and a lvl 3 War in S Gusta. That was so impossible w/o Voke. Omg.... i'm suprised i didnt lvl down during that foolish hour... I had to wait for him to do at least 2 hits b4 i jumped in...

          Hehe, wait until you hit level 7 and get bind, I got from 7 to 9 by binding tough quadavs in N gusta then unleashing all of my mana. At level 17 if you don't get a party in Valk fast enough you're probably just gonna screw around by walking from selbina and warping back (I was that bored....)

            OMFG! BIND IS SO AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!

            yeah, it is so sick, that and poison basically jump-started my Enfeeble. i think my elemental was at 15 and my enfeeb was at 12 (capped too, I think). But i hit a sheep with it, and me and my ranger bud just owned it. We linked 3 sheeps.

            Just.... damn.....

            And HELL YEAH ITS THE SHARINGAN!!!! w00t!!!!
