Piece of CAKE. Getting through the Tor Canal takes a bit of time, as you're not going to keep 14 people sneaked/invised. The NM was laughable with this party setup.
I had just run out of mp as it was about to die. So figure having 4-5 blm's is good to kill it before you run out of mp.
You get the quest in windurst, same place as Af1 and Af2. Heavens tower, Chumimi. Talk to her, Cutscene follows. You'll be asked to bring Doctor Koru-moru a square of silk thread (these sell at the AH for about 2.5k-3k each or you can synthesize one by using 3 spools of silk thread + 1 earth crystal).
Btw, before you go, make sure ALL the blm's have traded a square of silk thread to doctor Koru-moru so he can repair the doll for you. One of our blm's forgot....
Now you want to go to the outer horutoto ruins in east Sarutabaruta. On your map, it looks like an oval rectangular figure located middle/east of you the map. There's also one completely SE on the map, and there are more in west saru. You want the one in east Saru, middle-east of the map.
Now, in the Tor canal EVERYTHING aggroes you. And the pugil type monsters seem to aggro from miles away. Cut a path through them as you move, nothing here is TOO tough.
It's pretty easy in there. First ??? is at H-7, theres a slime type monster near so just make sure your sneak is ok. Short cut scene follows. (One more thing, the entire party doesn't have to go to where the first two ??? are. Just have the blm's sneak there way to those locations. You can have the rest of the party/alliance wait at the 3rd ??? really)
2nd ??? is at I-9. There's another slime type monster there, so same thing, sneak up. Click it, cut scene. Now USE Manafont and click on the ??? again, cut scene.
And the last ??? is at J-8. If more then 1 blm are doing the AF3, first clear the room of all monsters (1 scorpion and 2 undead). 1st Blm goes to the ???, clicks it...cutscene, and runs back. Don't attack the NM. Wait about 3-5minutes, it will vanish. 2nd blm goes, clicks the ???. You will have to click it a good number of times as there seems to be a delay for when the NM vanishes (took about 2 minutes before i got my cut scene). When it spawns, same thing, run back. Repeat for as many blm's as you have.
When the last blm spawns the NM, obliterated it. Escape out, warp everyone home and run to windurst. Go to Chumimi, cut scene follows.
And you get the ever popular....wizards petasos!!!!
Now i need 5 more lvl's so i can equip it......
