Which is better to lvl a blm

i would start in windurst so you can get the bonus thing that comes with the city. i choose taru too but im a war in sandoria and its hard but its fun too....lol so neways yeah windurst would be best then you can fight the guys there and lvl up pretty easily

Starting

I would definitly start in windurst as a Taru..you get your specialty ring for your home country..i dont think there is one area that can level you faster at the beginning anyway......it all dpends on what level you fight the monsters....tough, very tough, incred tough ( which i dont recomend on solo)

Well Windy is better for the ring and also for the Maze of Shakrami. Some people might disagree with that, that might be because they're either not a mage or because they don't have any sense . But if there's a place where even a casual player such as myself can get from level 11-16 in about five hours in a pt consisting of only 2 BLMs and a WHM then it must be great. (Thank you Noctudeit and Wesker!!!) So other than those 2 things I don't see too much of a difference between the 3 nations. Well.. the federal magic reserve might be one reason but if you're a high enough level to learn the III series spells then you could more than likely just travel to Windy from wherever you live.

Go windy, that way you get a high fame there from doing quests and such, so that the expensive spells (StoneII, WaterII, and such) are cheaper after you've done some leveling... but probably the easist thing to do (if you haven't already started, didn't check the dates) is start as whm, far more invites that way, go straight to 18 get subjob possibly even to 20, which you could squeak due to job demand, and do choco quest) then go level blm a good deal easier and have some of your skills already leveled (club, enfeeb, enhancing)
