is it hard to start out as taru blm i was taru war but gave up and so i was just wondering cuz every time you get hit the spell stops so i was just wondering

time you spell casts between the enemy hits.. it'll only get interupted if the enemy hits while your casting

wont get interupted =)

Start casting your spell *just as* the monster hits you. It'll fire before the next hit for sure.

A useful trick for the early levels is juggling the monster with a partner. I did this as I started out untill the mid teens. It help cutting down the melee damage you take in battles by quiet a bit.

With another BLM, just start the battle standing apart from each other around the max spell range. 1st person opens fire, monster runs towards him. 1st person stops casting when the monster approaches and have the 2nd person fire and pull the monster the other way.

The 2 of you alternate casting and make the monster run back and forth, wasting its time for doing melee damage. With good timing, you won't even get hit before it goes down.

This also works with a whm as partner, but since their banish takes some time to recharge, you will need to take some hits in melee combat when the monster runs at you, then have the whm cure and pull it away.
