noob question: Elemental Seal

What's it do? I just hit 15...and it doesn't seem to increase my damage or anything like that...

Elemental Seal helps to overcome monster resistance to spells. You should almost always see extra damage from a spell (overall) after using Elemental Seal. You can also use Elemental Seal with almost any spell debuff to make sure it "sticks" - Silence, Blind, Paralyze, Bind, Sleep, whatever.

Yes, only the next spell you cast will be coupled with elemental seal.

I thought it was a timed ability where it would last for a certian amount of time not just one spell.... oh well I geuss that would save my butt alot.

Funny i tried using this technique on a goblin tinkerer using the lemental seal + bind....didn't work at all.

was a waste of mana and a free shot...he just kept on coming like it was nothing....tried it maybe 4 times and it worked 0 times.

I wouldnt say it was 100% guaranteed... thats toooo powerful. I've had a couple of undead mobs that were higher than me resist an Elemental Seal + Sleep, mainly due to their darkness affinity.
