Which stats directly affect offensive magical ability?

While I know that INT and MP does, does DEX affect it also? Does anything else?

Just INT really. MP is just how much you can do.

Well actually there are two stats INT and Magical Attack (a hidden stat). INT is used to calculate Magical Attack though, that plus what ever other increases you may have from abilities of equipment.

Also certain armor has elemental attributes to it, but I am pretty sure that only helps with defence.
