Re: Crawler's Nest*
Leveling here since 49 as a duo, did 49 in the main large room with the secret room camp off it.
Used Soldier Crawlers for pets on Exorays, Hornflies and Blazer Beetles.
Now level 50 duoing in the tunnel near the Rolanberry fields exit at (H-7).
Using Soul Stingers as pets (with the occasional labyrnth lizard) on Exorays and Mushushu, also the occasional lizard to hold chains.

Re: Crawler's Nest*
Level: 50,51
Camp: On the first map, head to the second map located at A. At 50, camp in the tunnel between the two Lizard rooms in H-7/H-8. At 51, camp mainly in the tunnel in G-9.
Exp: 2k-2.5k/hr
At 50, I converted the two Witch Hazels [50-52] until they were EM’s. These two saplings served as my pet zoo fighting the EM/T Labyrinth Lizards [49-51] in the two adjoining rooms. I would typically only use one pet per fight; all the while, fighting along side my pets (got some Raven gear to facilitate this).
Fights went fairly smooth; just kept Barfira up at all times to reduce damage from Fireball. The only downside to fighting the lizards is occasionally they would Baleful Gaze, in which case I would just swap in the other sapling. Also, I died once from an unlucky Baleful Gaze.
Also, noteworthy of a mention is the loot: You will get stacks upon stacks of lizard skins, eggs, and tails. On my server, a stack of skins sells for a moderate amount of money (~20-30k). Through all of level 50, I got about 4 stacks of those. So made about 100k, not a lot, but a nice bonus . Also, Lizards drop chest keys, and the chest can spawn in the lizard rooms for a little bit of free gil or a jewel (Edit: also contains the Gigant Axe, which runs about 30k on my server).
---
At 51, I decided to move to using Witch Hazels, Labyrinth Lizards, and Exorays [51-54] against Exorays. This Exp went real quick with an Exoray pet, because they deal some real nice damage. Only thing to note are the status effects; namely Paralyze.
Usually one EM exo did the trick against the T exo’s, but I found I would have to swap once if I used lizards or saplings.
Also, I tended to empty the exo room before they could respawn. So, to keep chains going, I would go back and take out an EM lizard or two.
Played around here for a little bit at 52, but ultimately headed on over to Garliage Citadel.Last edited by Jugil; 09-25-2006, 06:53 AM.BST66

I'd like to solo my Crawler's Nest Coffer Key while I exp, and this would allow me to do so before hitting the 60s. But I'm a bit perplexed as to the pet suggestion and level recommendation. Knight Crawlers and Crawler Hunters will still be T+ at lvl 57. So if Rumble Crawlers as pets work until lvl 57, why not continue this past 57? Perhaps the information source this suggestion was salvaged from indicated changing pet past 57.Lyonheart

Camp is pretty much on top of the first crawler hunter in the tunnel between the rumbler room and the knight crawler room.I have heard that those who celebrate life
walk safely amongst the wild animals.
When they go into battle, they remain unharmed,
the animals find no place to attack them
and weapons are unable to harm them.
Why? Because they find no place for death in them.
