the thing i miss most about bst is running up on some NM that shouldnt be able to be soloed and down right owning it. i think the most fun fights i remember soloing were ancient goobbue, wsnm tachi: kasha, and the nasty NM phantom in fei'yin for the whitemage af.

I’ll have to look around for my list of NMs I’ve solo’d and/or want to solo. Local NMs are the reasons I started Bst.

I’d say my favorite NM to solo on Bst is Aquarius. Easy as hell, drops decent gil and sometimes I can help a youngen get a Franny.

I’ve successfully soloed Ancient Goobue once. Was a great feeling since he has killed me numerous times.

Rouge Receptacle (from Nov 09 update) is another fun one if your able to get the moon pass

I want to try to solo Despot jug style, since the few times with locals he’s been stolen.

The Drg NM in La Vaule[s] is always good practice. I’ve gotten him down to about 75% before (with tiger jugs). It just takes sooooo long. You’re looking at hours of soloing if you attempt. Eventually I called a buddy and we duo’d him.

Though not a solo...one of my fondest memories on Bst was a Guivire trio. A lot of crabs, spiders and lizards lost their lives that day. All just to give their masters a few hundred xp.

He might not be such a big deal, but it was my first NM solo. As a level 41 Red Mage he's a bit intimidating, but a lot of fun to go toe-to-toe with. I had a lot of fun fighting him to unlock Dragoon, even if it took me a few tries. It's one of the few fights I've had where there was the fear of death without the sense that I simply wasn't a high enough level to even attempt it.
