Fidelity Earring

I saw this earring listed on the AH recently, and was curious if anyone knew anything about how the latent works or the amount of +pet acc gained.

Looking it up on Wiki, it says that the latent is activated when in a party with a Bst. If that is so, would being solo count as being in a party?

No. I recently got the Mystique earring from whichever NM it drops, which is the bard version of the earring you're talking about. They activate only when someone else of the specific job is in the same party as you. So you would need to duo with another BST in order for the Fidelity earring to be active.

Rats. It is unlikely at this point in time that I'll party with another Bst, so this earring isn't so good I suppose :/

Hmm...
Seems to me, if you're solo (ie. Single), you don't need fidelity, whereas, if you're in a party (ie. Married), then you need fidelity. If you get married and later you find your spouse is rather BST'ly, well it's hard to maintain fidelity, hence the earring. So she get's you the earring before you get married, and if there's infidelity, well...the latent kicks in and there's a good chance you'll die.
