BST and the elusive +CHR cape

I was reading through a bunch of augmenting threads between a bunch of sites when something dawned on me. Even though its totally random would it be possible to get some cheap capes in the hopes of getting a +CHR augment on them for Beastmaster?

Its the only slot that BST cannot equip CHR that I am aware of so was wondering if this has even been tried. Any and all info is appreciated.

I'm sure it's entirely possible and has likely been tried. But no reason you can't try as well. Since it's random, who knows what you'll get?

Well it seems certain areas give a set of random augments so I guess what I'm asking is what areas tend to give +CHR augments to items kind of trying to narrow down my search ^^

There you go. To be honest, I know Augment was not supposed to be some source of great, new, previously unattainable stats that broke the game, but +1 is still a bit underwhelming. Too underwhelming for me, in fact, that I because as my macro setup is now, I can't even fit it in, so I'm just not going to bother.
