    HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA.

Anyway, this is what I did the 6 times I "levelled" BST:

50-53 - Gustav Tunnel. Downstairs a bit, see them Goblin Leeches? Pull carefully and you can level to 53 quite fast. One pet takes Goblin Leech down with your help, sometimes it may take 2 but it depends on how brave you are.

Alternatively (if 20 BLMs, BLUs, soloists, skill up parties block the above), 50-55, Crawler's Nest, basement (with the secret room), grind it out on Soldier Crawlers, Flies, Scorps, Exorays, Rumble Crawlers, Beetles.

1 Exoray can destroy a beetle
1 Exoray can destroy pretty much everything else including scorpions and rumble crawlers, although if too many Death Scissors come your way it might prove tricky
Beetles are relatively harmless albit tough to kill at times
Flies should be used as backup pets (they pack quite a punch)
You can make gil here (bring lots of inventory!)

at 55, garlaige citadel... bombs, bombs, bombs, bombs until 59 (up to 60 if you can)

At 59, please refer to my post here:

And yes, I'm confident if it works for me as DRK/BST a BST can make it work slightly better...

Susurrus: 44-46, East Ronfaure [S] was pretty good. Ladybugs vs Colibri/Ladybugs ...other than that, other camps are much better. I don't know if anyone has noticed, but WoTG mobs seem slightly tougher (in the HP department).

        Re: BST post update?

Here is what I have for the guide lvling in the past. I cant find the original post but what I did the first time I read it was copy it and past it into a word document. I had to break it down into 3 text files here in order to attach it. the guide starts at lvl 32 which that was the lvl I was when I started lvling in the past. I know the original post starts at like lvl 21. I have had a blast following this guide. the camps are never taken, and yes as one person had stated the mobs tend to be a bit stronger than regular mobs in the present but I ahve lvled there for so long that I dont even notice anymore. I also fight along side my pet and have had no problem with the mob turning on me. if you follow the guide I know you will have a lot of fun. and you will lvl quick.

but like I said I dont know where the original post is and I dont remember who had taken thier time to write. I take no credit for this guide but I standby it 100% If i knew who wrote it I would send them a thank you for it, it has been awesome following the guide.

the last part though about doing the campaign thing fighting fortifications sounds interesting and its definately safe, but I think I will go back to the traditional camps to prceed any farther as my bst.

        Enjoy

          Re: BST post update?

After skimming through those 3 guides, he really went through hell. Respect to him, somewhat. The mob choices aren't exactly wise, i.e. Beetle vs Beetle is painfully slow.

My aim when levelling on BST or /BST is make sure find something offensive against something somewhat defensive. He also had one where he picks on them "trap" plant mobs, which is really really unwise.

However, the only benefit you get is Auto Regen and Refresh (below a certain %) along with EXP bonuses. In my eyes I do not feel that these 3 bonuses compensate for WoTG's slightly tougher mobs (in the HP area, usually) compared to the more traditional areas.

the last part though about doing the campaign thing fighting fortifications sounds interesting and its definately safe, but I think I will go back to the traditional camps to prceed any farther as my bst.
This is exactly what I thought.

And campaign is boring boring boring boring especially beating on a wall it's boring boring boring and it won't get you much EXP unless you beat on it for 2 hours and it's boring. As guide said, it's "leisurely/safe" but also .... boring. You'll lose brain cells in the process.

Kuro: If you're 45 I really really suggest you don't try and go off to WoTG, in my eyes you'll just struggle. Levelling off Ts isn't incredibly slow but you just need to match the right pets to the right mobs, and play aggressively, which I see a lot of people don't do (for good reason). You won't get that much better EXP (only by a small margin) there and if you're just looking for the "go faster" mentality you'll likely die much more (tried and tested...).

At 45 go to Gustav Tunnel, it's BST heaven there. Leeches and flies everywhere, very good pets, and Goblin DRK, RNG and THFs there, although I tend to steer clear of the THFs as they are slightly more tricky. All 3 goblin types go down fast and you can move further in where you can charm lizzies too, also durable pets for down there.

By all means, give WoTG a try and report back here, I would love to hear other people's thoughts and feelings as I'm eventually going to solo WHM, BLU, SAM, DNC, SCH and RNG to 75 (in that order of preference). But I too will go and have a try (I don't have much hope though) once I finish DRK.

            Re: BST post update?

Thanks for the tip on Gustav, and the links, I looked through them and yeah, it does seem like he's gone the hard way through some of those camps, I don't have much trouble with camps being taken since i left Crawlers nest though so I think I'll stay in the present for a bit longer

EDIT: Seema Zi'tah is a lot better than Gustav now. Around the outpost area there are just so many pets and gobbies but more spread out and they give only a tiny bit less exp for being a lot easier to take down. I never have to rest, in gustav i had to after every fight, no good ¬,¬ damn pet could never realy hold hate eigther, was a shame.
