    I believe I remember reading about this a long time ago in Allakhazam's BST forums. I think they just concluded it was a random occurrence. But I could very well be wrong about what I remember.

          I can "confirm" that it's "fluke" or "lucky" that it can SOMETIMES happen. I've seen it myself plenty of times

              Dark Spore/Silence Gas are attacks based somewhat on HP, doing 2 in quick succession should mean the damage dealt is the same.

              I have no proof, only except that I'm sure if you used Funguar pets long enough you notice that the 2 abilities above deal extreme damage sometimes, and stupidly weak sometimes.

              Likewise, I'm sure people will remember the horrors of fighting Exorays in Crawler's Nest, where if the Exoray did do one of the moves above at high HP, your tank is pretty much dead.

                    Would explain the "freak damages" (extremely high/one-shot) I've taken by undead dogs and crawlers at times when I soloed...

                      Never had this happen to me. Guess Ill be on the look out when using teh fugus from now on.

                        On that note, that was the last time I used funguar, probably, i prefer Orob.. cheaper x_x
