  • Large group Beasmaster Lvling location! I need it ><

To make a super long story short, my list of bst and summoner friends has grown a LOT, but I can't seem to find a place where we can all level together!

I've tried Caedarva Mire, but whenever I go there, parties get mad at me because we take literally all the imps! Trust me, two bsts and two summoners really kick the crap out of the squishies there.

Since my conscience gets the best of me, and since I have a practical party of 5-6 people being only summoners and bsts (not to mention Caedarva Mire is super gloomy), where else is there to go??

Any advice would be a great help!

You could always take the entrance to Caedarva Mire through Nyzul Isle, fewer people go there except to camp Khimera. Lots of Imps there and SMNs can manage Soulflayers pretty well to boot. Mob charm options here suck for BST, though, they'll have to use jug pets.

Or you could go do imps in Arrapago Reef, the midpoint between the COR ??? ship and Ilrusi Atoll Staging point is full of imps and there's also adequate mobs for BSTs to grab and use along the way from the staging point.

Bibki Bay is more or less a BST zone. Plenty of Gobs to Kill and things to charm. EXP is a little lower but you'll seldom see competition there these days.

Perhaps outside Dvucca Isle Staging Point is a good place, there's 2 slimes there in the pond and 2 further on, but even so, 2 BSTs and 2 SMNs can use the place and go through the undead there.

Ilrusi Atoll Staging Point, go out a bit, get the BSTs to grab the leeches and then perhaps head to the areas with the kraken type mobs. The imps there are too low level for you to chain (all 72-74 i believe). There are however 4 Seneschal Imps according to wiki, but I have absolutely no idea where they spawn, but seems nice as they are 77-78.

I need to go check out where these imps are!!!

What's the difference between you tanking all the mobs and a "regular" party taking all the mobs?

Oops. I forgot to mention that too.

ohh thanks for the ideas! They aren't bad, but I'd love more suggestions too. How about any past-related areas? Or better yet, how about non-imp monster areas? Those would be great too.

And about between the four of us (2 bsts and 2 summoners) taking imps rather than a regular party... well...

Two bsts go out to find an imp, when one is found, we pull back, use Fight, and summoners summon Garuda doing Predator Claw damage between 800-1000 on average, which usually either 2-shots the monster, or kills it to the point where the two bst pets kill it quickly. The main difference between parties is the imps barely survive the summoner attacks! Thus making the two bsts almost constantly pulling, resting only for summoner mp and pet swap.

That's how i've expereinced it anyway, any bst or summoner between 70-75 is perfectly fine, even with the level gap, just as long as the summoner is above lvl 70 to use the final blood pact.

pretty sure they just meant that even if you aren't a "traditional" experience party set up, you're no less legitimate, and therefore shouldn't feel guilty about killing mobs more efficiently than the other groups in the area.

                ooooooh... but for some reason, people get mad at me when 4 people can take on monsters that 6 have trouble with ; ;

La Vaule (S) could be another possibility, of the beastmen fortresses of the past, its the only one with worthwhile charmable mobs inside it, though I don't know how low the lizards will check, I do know that the ladybugs are an option after 72 or 73. Orcs get pretty nasty deeper in, though.

That other Caedarva camp I mentioned isn't just all imps, there are soulflayers as well and SMN PTs do pretty well against them, though a BST and SMN PT may or may not have some trouble. They kinda beat down pets fast, so SMNs recover better there.

Ajattaras (Wyverns, comprable to Skoffins in MJSP) out in Grauberg are also in that level range, though nothing charmable tends to be near them, so this would be a jug pet area for BST.

Take these suggestions with a grain of salt, though, I'm just thinking of options.

Actually, i've never fought wyverns before, are they really hard? Have people tried to merit off of them?

I believe Wyverns are easy, as they don't use breath attacks until their master's do a TP move, I believe. If I remember correctly I'm making this assumption based on the Fomors in the Aquaducts that I solo regularly for subligars/assisting others.

Just throwing this out there... Whooo cares? You and your 3 other friends all pay the monthly fee(s). They can bitch and moan all they want, that really doesn't change the fact you're not barred from exping out there. In fact, maybe it'll encourage some of the brainless party leaders to go somewhere else other than the mire.

So has anyone found out any other locations? I'm going to try that Wyrm camp as soon as i can get enough willing and able people.

It's good to suggest things that even sound crazy! I'll look it up and down and even try it out, so please, don't hesitate to add!

You're thinking of baby/pet Wyverns. Adult wyverns will use Radiant Breath whenever they please. They have 7 TP moves in all, though. The big hitters are Radiant Breath at high HP and Fang Rush. Deadly Drive and Tail Crush don't hurt so much, Wind Wall is a potent Eva Buff, Dread Shriek is an AoE Paralyze, and Dispelling Wind (AoE Dispel) is just annoying.
