Newton Movalpolis at 65?

    Newton Movalpolis at 65?

    In the Revised Hunting Grounds thread over at Alla, I noticed that Newton was listed as a possibility in the mid 60s. Has anyone tried this zone for solo exp? I'm tempted to give it a shot, just for something novel and different.

    I checked the Anthologies to see what I could find. I was surprised that Oldton and Newton were absent there.

    i havent but im bst 64 would love to try someplace new, what would you charm as pets? and vs gobs?

      Hunting Grounds suggested using Dire Bat (Giant Bat type, level 63 - 65) and Succubus Bats (Triple Bat type, level 63 - 65) as pets. Target prey would be Bugbear Trashman (65 - 67) and Moblin Draftsman, Tankman, Workman and Yardman (66 - 69). There was no specific information regarding camp spots.

      It appears that there are also Goblins (not Moblins) in that zone with the same 66 - 69 level range. I'm not sure whether the Moblins or the Goblins would be easier to prey. I would assume that Goblins would be better, since a backfire on Bomb Toss is quick and easy exp, while a backfire on various Moblin TP moves isn't.

        I tried there not so long after CoP was released, but it wasn't good at that time.
        Goblin/Moblin (I forgot which one) attack was much stronger compared to other areas.
        It felt like they were hitting double as hard as other goblins in other areas.
        It might be changed by now though.
