  • Fight Club - BST style

I keep wondering if there is, whether secret or beyond my newby-ish knowledge, a type of PVP with Bsts. It seems to me like a perfectly normal thing to do if you set it up right. Just have two Pets go at it. Or is there some kind of restriction of attacking another Bsts pet with your own? When I become Bst and ever get it good I would like to start something like that.

We have strict rules about this sort of thing <.<

We stand behing lines placed on a field and flip a coin to see who get the call their pet first. Then the first guy is all like "Charizard, I choose you!!!" and the other guy is like "Blastiose, pwn this noob!"

Oh wait, that's Pokemon. Sorry. Everything I just told you was a lie.

I've yet to do much PVP on BST, but I've been told its a pretty strong job in that regard and look forward to doing it, but I want to get to 60+ before I start messing around with Ballista. I personally liked Brenner better, but SE never really fleshed that PvP game out.

There's also supposed to be some new PvP content in Aht'Urghan. I've always been under the impression "The Pit" would be some kind of PvP for pet-based jobs or that "The Colusseum" would be a smaller, team-based PvP. But SE hasn't said what those are exactly for yet.

You had me up until Charizard. Everyone knows you can't charm NM.

Re: Fight Club - BST style

At one point while running through Jugner as a lowbie character the tigers were giving me a lot of trouble when it came to dodging them. About half-way through I realize there's a Ballista match going on, and I see a Ballista player being chased by a Bst's Tiger Familiar. I thought that was the funniest thing in the world at the time. Damn, they're in there too?

Anyways, it costs money for Bsts to summon pets in any situation, so they don't usually toss them around like pillows. In Ballista it seems as if people avoid the pet and go straight for the Bsts, so a Bst can set a pet out and people will avoid fighting it even if the Bst isn't around to fight.
