Small Bst rant

I was online the other lvling my bst in Qufim, and seeking a pt, when I get a blind invite. I send the guy a /tell asking him why he would send someone an invite without talking to them first. He replys "Your a bst and lucky to get a party." I respond with "I ask you why you send a blind invite and you decided to be rude, why???", to which he replies "Myeh!!!". So I told him no thanks I'm playing solo. He then proceds to follow me around Quifm and run his character around mine while I am fighting. I find one of his pt members that I happen to have pted with before, and asked him if he was rude to him when he sent the invite. He told me no and that the guy was talking trash about bst to the pt.

Why are people so childish about things? What would cause someone to make such an uneducated statement as this person did? I understand that most people don't like bst in pt or know that bst can pt well, but why would you be rude to someone you don't know that you invited to your pt?

I'm done now I just think that he was being really childish and stupid about the whole situation.

Bst take alot of abuse, and we just keep rolling, blist and move on. I can't even tell you how many times I've been camped on, just over the last week. I hate that more than some ass just making fun - I can blist them, I can't do anything except move when I'm camped on :/

because- the game is like life, your gonna run into asses, its a given. Its how you react (or lack of - which you did, and not lower yourself) that defines your character. Just shake it off and get down w/your bst self!!

I think you did an excellent job spirit. I wouldn't have been so nice, I would have switched jobs and followed him around killing anything he was tryin to exp off of.

Probably one of my features that make me an ass =P If someone is rude to me, I try to find a way to be rude back. But on the other hand, at least I don't talk shit.

I get blind invites in whatever MMO i play, An the worst part is you have no clue why. I had one in FFXI to help with a Gen 2 quest out of the blue. Not to mention he made me leader an asked me to find help. Umm just cause im a 75 bst an answering a question in open chat, dont mean im the guy to lead the party..

BST, NIN, PUP, BRD, BLM etc. etc. etc. it doesn't matter what job you are, when you meet people like that it's always the same.

Not one job is exempt from bumping nto stupid people once in a while.

I don't understand why people dislike BST so much. I love BSTs. If I'm doing a quest / mission where we have to go through a dangerous area with a bunch of noobs *coughZM4cough*, the one job I want more than anything is BST.

Noob: "Oh I'm level 66 WHM, I don't get aggro here" as he walks into a Torama.

Before I can stun it off him, the Torama goes Light Blue and the threat is gone. I think to myself, "Man, I love BSTs." I'd love to have that safety option in an exp party.

I really need to level BST some more, I loved it for those levels.

I used to get asked all the time if i could lead CoP runs. The reason being, i could lead a group of 5 peeps around those mobs without getting caught. I think each floor we maybe had to fight 1-3 mobs. Never had to wonder where the teles were on the floor due to scan..

This is why people hate bst.
They are Jeleous that they are not skilled enough to manipulate monsters and XP constantly by themselves. They need the crutch of other players to compensate for there lack of ability and skill. The amount of anger generated from constantly being KO'd is unbearable for them. So when they see you tearing it up and getting chain 3's solo it pisses em off because they cant do it. In a party potentially bst can do awesome if they have em's to charm within the area of exp. I dont really know but thats what i have read. If you want to feel bad about invites go play drk. Xping while LFG'ing is a huge plus in my book. As far as players who think they own everything, Let em talk all they want while they run there mouth in LS chat LFG forever you can jump on and off the road to 75 anytime you want.

I would like to know some avenues in which bst is usefull questing etc.... I was helping someone open the doors in garliage Citidel or however you spell it. Charm run back release.... Charm run back realease.... nice i dont need sneak whatsoever. Anyone else got any tips like that. I just was like dam no oil.... then was like... wait a second.... oh yeah i rule "CHARM"!
