Re: The good, the bad and the bloody ignorant

I don't know if he had already spawned before I got into the corner but I didn't see him. I wasn't even paying much attention to my own positon, just following the Raptors I was charming/fighting along the southern edge. I've checked on ffxi-atlas and their spawn area seems a little off. He just hung around the k-10 area blocking my exit.

My hubby used to go farming in that section. For some reason, he kept forgetting about Waraxe Beak and ended up dead... Alot. It wasn't until I put a marker on my hubby's map indicating DEATH with a capital death that he finally avoided that section.

If I were on Asura, I'd gladly level up quickly to help you seek revenge on that overgrown lizard-bird. But alas, three ladies on three servers with thrice the ego would be too much to bear. By the way, what's that armor you're wearing there? I love how it looks.

Re: The good, the bad and the bloody ignorant

Hehe thank you but my revenge is already on the cards

Waraxe had better prepare to face some of my red magery and bid farewell to his currently uninterrupted existance. I'm getting a few of my friends together (all level 70+) and we're going to torture it for a while. Maybe give an extremely slow and painful death or possibly just let my friend practice AMII on it.

As for the armour, its a recolour of the standard chainmail/silver set. I started working on it a while ago but never got round to finishing it. I intended to add more of the gold detailing around the neck area and on the gloves, also I was going to shorten the neck covering and open it up a little bit but I forgot about it until I equipped my chainmail on my bst.

        *looks for better screenshot*

I think this one was taken before I resolved an alpha mapping issue but you can see the gold detailing I mentioned.

Darn, I was hoping it was something I could get in game. You did a really good job on changing the armor. It tempts me to get the PC version to do .dat changes but my comp is very picky about playing graphic heavy games and upgrades for it aren't in the near future.

Oh, and since I don't want to go completely off topic... Pre-Congratulations on destroying Waraxe Beak.

Thanks, he'll have another week to live by the looks of things because my friend is off until Wednesday then I'm away from Thursday until Tuesday. With this in mind I have dispatched my moogle with a letter for Waraxe containing 100 things to do before you die.

Edit: Number 42 is not applicable........ yet

Lol, nice list. Can tabers grow a beard though? I've often wondered about that. As for him telling his life's story... I think it would be quite similar to Smithy's.

I could see him having a ZZ top thing going. As for the story, I doubt it would be very interesting. Nobody ever bothers with him so he wanders round on his own doing nothing for months on end, then as soon as someone decides to pay him a visit he welcomes them with a Stonega IV. Not very sociable at all.

I wonder what Simon Travaglia would make of him if he dropped by mission control one day.

I think the ZZ Top thing would be a bit too much. The next time you bumped into him unprepared, he'd karaoke you while ripping you to pieces...

<Waraxe Beak> "She's got leeeegssss... And I know how to eat them...."

I think he fits in quite well

Would this make them ZZ Beak or Waraxe Top?

Woohoo! New FFXI hybrid background for me! I wish I had this kind of talent on a comp. I'm lucky if I can make stick figures look like stick figures.
