Re: quick question from a non-bst
Well not that alot of people ask to be involved with a BST exp wise. When they do I always say yes if I'm not really all that busy with other affairs. Even if they are that 500 exp to that next lvl and don't feel like partying. Even if they just want to leech some exp, I don't mind at all.
I see it like this. Not enough people know about BST and how it works and there is a lot of myth about the job around the normie population. Some negative and some positive, most negative. From thinking our pets hurt their exp to thinking BST are just godly solo machines that just sics a pet on a mob and lets the exp roll in with little to no involvement.
So I think of it as a BST awareness opprotunity. Bring along someone and show them how BST works, let them mooch some exp and tell them what they need to do to stay alive. They learn alot. How to manage the delicate balance of hate, what kinds of eco-systems are viable for BST exp. (Alot of people thing BST can solo ANYWHERE they want, which is why they feel parties should have access to the more traditional camps.) They can see the tactics and experience the BST's way of life second hand and at the end of the day that's one less person ignorant to the ways of us BST's.
Hell that person might tell another person and so on and so on and all those nasty false beliefs about BST could be gone. Well maybe in an ideal word but I doubt it, but still every little bit helps.
