Okay, folks, let's get a list of your favorite 5 pets and a little story about why they made the list.

Here's mine:

1. White bunny. Held off 2 Snolls and a Buffalo while I suddenly had much more important things to do irl and had to log off quickly... >.>

2. Jelly. Once you get em charmed (and familiared)...wow. just wow.

3. Fungy. I love my jug pet Fungy. I think it's the same Fungy every time I call him out. He did 260 to an exoray in CN in an all BST pt and got tons of /laughs and /cheers.

4. Akabaakabakaba. My first pet. Well, he was actually prey until he started killing me...then he became my first pet. From then on it was me with a pet by my side. Couldn't be happier, feel nekkid without one.

5. CC. Only used one, but it was a finisher on Dabotz' Ghost. Man, that little crab can take a beating. And a Flare.

So what are your top 5 and why?

Mushrooms are my friends. TP moves are all nice. And who doesn't like Jelly, except when you mischarm them ouch. Most over looked is beetles when you play with bombs. me beetles.

With my limited experience, I'll say Dhalmels are some of my favorites. They shake the ground when they walk! And get right in the way of the camera.

Crabs are okay, I really like bunnies 'cause they hit hard, and scorpions (charmed one as whm/bst once) are just insanely cool.

That reminds me, was fighting something big, got up close to it, unlocked the camera and turned the angle 180 degrees so I was basically looking at my char...

Inside this critter

It was hollow

very very bizzaro

and when i hit it, it marked the hit way out on top of the tail, not inside the leg where i was lol

Leeches

Stronger than your average enemy, but not as difficult to charm as a Jelly. Nothing, IMO, beats an EM leech.

My other favorites:

2. Mandragoras - just because they're cute and they make that funny little noise when they attack.

3. Lizards - petrify TP move FTW! Gotta love it when your pet actually uses this ability - and it sticks.

4. Dhalmel - it's the largest charmable mob in the game, and great hilarity ensues when my little Taru charms one of these guys.

5. Worm - I have used worms in several instances over my 73 levels of Beastmaster so far. I occasionally use them as a buffer to do minor damage to a mob while waiting for a charmable to repop from a despawn - and I love the looks that I get from passers-by when I charm a worm.

Honorable mention goes to Hecteyes, just because they are strong as heck and can cast Ancient Magic.

#1 - CourierCarrie - This pet is the one I've spent the longest time. CourierCarrie
#2 - Jelly - This pet is the one that helped me gain lots of exp.
#3 - Mushroom - Every WS is good.
#4 - CrabFamiliar - Up to high 50's, he was my best friend
#5 - Scorpion - Used often for farming... Not often anymore though

I'm kinda mean sometimes...I'll charm a worm and cast Invis and watch from a distance as the poor Quifim noobies scratch their heads.

And Kraken! Gotta love runnin around with a Kraken lol while invis.

Oh, if only that were the meanest thing I do.

1. Leeches. agree with miffee on this one for all the reasons allready posted.
2. Tiger Familiar- Not the best, not the worst jug pet but he's gotten me through alot of promy's and farming. Also you look really pimp with one following you around
3.Rabbit's-Neva underestimate the cute and fuzzy bunnies. Bibki bay owning efts, dhamels, and birds, also dunes and bubu. Quit a bit tougher than they look.
4.Funguars- quick, good tp moves, and got me through quit a few levels in Carpenter's Landing(My favorite place to level btw)
5.pugs-In quifm I demolished the wight population with them.

1. Leeches: Easy to charm, good TP skills, take dmg well and dish it out well.
2. Ooze: Minus the mischarms. They beat my taru flesh pretty easily. All skills are pretty powerful.
3. Lizards: Baleful Gaze is great. Who doesnt like beating down a mob that cant fight back?
4. Black mandies: They just seem meaner for some reason.
5. Urganites: Giant dmg absorber. Too bad we cant use their healing mode though :\

Leeches - best pet ever, sometimes give lame TP attacks but they are stronger than most pet.
Tigers - I like them, they are fast runner; I don't have to wait for them while farming. And they look cool too.
Slimes - hard to charm but too great of a pet to NOT charm them.
Mushrooms - good DD pet, great TP attacks.
Crabs - nothing really beats the cheap and reliable pet.

Leeches - Have to be the best IMO. If I can find two EM leeches at my lvl then that will be my camp


Slimes - While hard to charm they make supper pets. I remember taking down a IT Gig... in Kor... Tunnle with one of the DC slimes. The Hecteyes are nice to with their magic moves.



Fungars - These guys won me over in Boy.. Tree. Dark spore for 690 damage {Yes Please}



Hares - At early lvl's these do nice jobs. I haven't used a white one yet...



Crabs - Normally can be found in large quantities making them convenient and they are pretty darn good tanks. As jugs they are hard to beat in price for there abilities. TP moves suck.

If I had a camp, I'd probably be the happy if I had one of these:

1. Slime.
2. Leech.
3. Sea Monk.
4. Funguar.
5. Dhalmel.


Of course my favorite is the mandy and sabotendar, just cause they're awesome.
