    Re: BSt farming with Jugs

Read it again. I wrote "...other cheap broths."

You think I just go to the AH and buy CC and SS just for farming? No.

I gather the ingredients and have my friend craft them for me. Currently cooking 55 myself.

    Sorry for the confusion..

The thought that THF has to be in exp range seems interesting. But I can fully confirm that I didn't get TH2 effect from my THF friend even though he was in my party. It can't be lucky charm thing.

If thief participates in the killing and HE has the TH ability, wouldn't it make more sense that he also looked for more drops? This from Roleplay stand point.

I gotta test the thing about having THF in exp range and then getting effect sometime with my friends. For now, if you wanna be sure you're getting TH effect, make sure THF or /THF hits the thing at least once.

        Re: BSt farming with Jugs

I farm cockatrice meat in onzozo weekly as 61bst/25thf. I also kill the gobs in the area just cause they drop gil, and I got one of the miners to drop a plat ignot once, so I routinly kill them too. I notice a difference if I let my pet fight and I dont touch the mob, namely in gilfinder. Let me explain, if I'm resting to full, my pet fights the gob the entire time, I dont do a thing, it'll drop 70-90gil. If I'm killing with my pet, the gob will drop 90-130gil. I know it's not scientific, I know it's a random amount with each gob as far as how much gil they drop, but when I take at least one swing at the gob, I almost always see over 100 gil.

I know gilfinder and treasurehunter are two seperate things, but I would think the dev's used the same determinating factors for both to be active. I dont think just being in the party get's it active, I do think getting on the hate list does, no matter how small or insignificant the hate is. I saw what they said at the fanfest, I saw the other post's about all the aditional questions that werent asked about TH, but this is my beliefs and my way of farming. Even if i'm sub 100hp (yes I'm reckless) I'll take a swing at the mob my pet is fighting and then run out of aoe range and rest. I'm not saying anything is fact, but I am saying, I notice a difference when I hit the mob at least once, so I always hit the mob when I'm going /thf.
