  • Bounding/Leaping Boots

I just recently got a pair of Bounding Boots from LL. I am currently lvl 15 BST. I was wondering how good the boots are for a BST and how long i should expect to have them equiped?

meh, imho it's not really good for BST at all. you'll get more mileage out of a good pair of bastokan leggings or sandorian boots (the lvl 15 ones).

    Thanks Yyg!

If you're a solo BST it doesn't matter what you wear so wear what you want. I don't think they're anything special for BST. I'd go for def before DEX/AGI. For pts though use them if you feel like it.

Only real use for them really is saving them up for your THF or RNG.

If you are soloing by all means wear whatever you want, but if you are in a xp party, i suggest something that will help you do more damage. At your level it doesnt matter because you dont have much option.

They are good boots since they give +6 total to base stats at such an early level. Unfortunately they are two stats that aren't a huge deal for BST. I had leaping boots that I wore for a very long time just because there isn't much for the foot slot at all for a long time. AGI may help you parry/shield/eva a little more. The Dex really isn't much of a factor other than a point of accuracy and slight increase to crits (which can be a bad thing for a solo BST). Personally I think Power Sandles (VIT+3) are a better option at level 18. Unfortunately I hadn't even really heard of them at the time so I just stuck with my Leaping Boots til my RSE which are great for BST as a Hume.

as a bst, as long as you have the chr you need, and some decent gear, it really doesnt even matter. that's what is so great about bst. you can go however you like!

Yea you could solo naked if you wanted to lol, and I have before. As far as bounding boots go, I would prolly wear them till you get your AF gaiters. I quit recently (but coming back in a week or two), but my BST is 66 and I switch back in forth between my AF and bounding boots depending if I'm exping or farming sky .

if you're Mithra, I would definitely recommend using the RSE feet macro'd in for fighting. great stats, and i'm still using mine at lvl 66. I didn't bother getting the bounding boots, and was more worried about defense at that point, since i was still pulling hate from my pet at your lvl.
