    Exp/Farm/Merit on Bark Tarantulas in Boy.. Tree?

    To be honest I have looked around a lil and never seen any of these type of spiders in Boy.. Tree. Anyone know where they spawn?

    I've been wondering if it would be possible to exp/merit/farm on these spiders but I have know idea how tough they are or if sufficient pets are near? At this lvl I would think exp could be decent along with the drops... hmmm

    Just brain storming while at work. Has anyone tried to SOLO Bark Tarantulas in Boy.. Tree?

    As I mentioned in your Alla posting. These spiders are found down in the Dragons Aery, its down a waterfall up by the Elder Goobues. It use to be easy to pull these spiders up to kill Goodbues with, but it doesnt work so well anymore. They where easier to charm than the Black Mandies and have better TP moves.

    Killing them... I don't know, you could maybe do spider on spider down there. I prefer to kill the Goobs personally, because of the nice Tree Cutting drop rate and decent XP still. For Merits, I think it is now common consenus that ToAU has some of the best options, but I have yet to explore them myself.

      I used to love xp/meriting on these back pre-patch. I'd get me a Bloodball from the Ancient Goobbue spawn area, and drag it with me to the spiders. I'd release it, use one of the saplings in the area to pull spiders (yay for getting rid of links with pet pulls), release the sapling, recharm the leech, and go at it. (The saplings don't seem to be tough enough to take a spider down). It was nice xp, rather relaxing (I love how strong leeches are), and hey, getting spiderwebs while xping never hurt


      Alas... I have not been able to determine how to make these spiders work since the patch. There are other camps I can use, but I miss this one.
