    Re: How much are you willing to pay...

    Watching my funguar hit the shadow lord with Silence Gas for 480 was priceless (especially since I pulled off a 762 rampage immediately after and we beat the Asura record).

      i agree fungar is one of my favorite pets. Too bad that they stop rocking around 67+ish. Wish they did have some/all jugs on sale at npcs or just take away the lvl caps.

        Yeah I honestly have never understood having level caps on jugs. Especially in the higher levels when some mob types could own other mob types. Meh, wtf am I talking about, I'm only 60 and know nothing. I think I haven't used a jug outside of escort/solo-enm in months.

          I think SE thought it was a good idea to put a cap on Cold Blooded Como, who is very powerful and with many ws skills cap at 65... Orob the shellbuster doesn't disappoint me so much but hey cursed sphere is tight looking as hell.

          they need a uncappable jug for every type of monster we have access to and more esp leeches

            Re: How much are you willing to pay...

            I paid 150k for a Lars to use in Maat fight. Only time I'll ever spend that much on a jug I can't craft myself. I usually just use Funguars most of the time, or Panzers when I actually need a good jug for something since they are easy to craft with 60 WW and Advanced Guild Support. Still aren't cheap though, even crafting them myself. I'd say it ends up costing about 60k to make a stack, but I'd rather do that than give my gil to the cooks who jacked up the prices on CC. 20k is a decent enough price, but 40K+ {No, thanks}. I'll take the better jug for a similar price thank you.

              Re: How much are you willing to pay...

              Someone actually parsed out all the uncapped jugs (I don't want to know how long they spent farming). Using couriercarrie normalized to 1 the results were:

              CourierCarrie = 1
              Amigo = Panzer = 1.3
              Ambusher = Chopsewy = 2.3
              LLL = 3

              There have also been numerous reports of just how much LLL owns. There was a parse showing a Bst/nin using maneater + Temperance + LLL that had them outparsing a Ridill/Joy war and a Axe/Ridill war by something like 20%. There are reports of LLL soloing maat. Other jobs that have seen a bst using LLL often describe it as,"partying with a level 75 diremite with a beastmaster pet."

              Now if only it wasn't impossible to get clearbloodbroth....

              As a side note, at level 75 CC is increadably tough, she gets even stronger with monster gloves (my HNMLS uses beastmasters to pull in heavy aggro zones so we don't have to wait for safe pulls).

                "...Partying with a lvl 75 diremite with a beastmaster pet." *giggle*

                On a side note, funguar is really really good in the Peacock charm bcnm Under Obeservation. If you get lucky with a sic, those eyes will be hurting, and they do fine for kiting as well. Was much more impressed with them than the tiger jugs people had recommended to me.

                  I used Chucky for my Maat fight and I ALMOST felt guilty for not helping more lol He tanked Maat very nicely. I try to avoid using jugs if there are "Real" pets to be found. If I have to use a jug pet I will use CC.

                  I do have about 3 chucky's hidden in my mog for something special

                      God he so does. XD

                      But nothing owns Maat as much as my WAR friend just did.

                      Mighty Strikes + 100% TP + Berserk + Aggressor + Warcry = 1 owned Raging Rush.

                      Icarus Wing + All of the above = Second owned Raging Rush, with a 400 damage SC.

                      He got it on Fraps, it was pretty badass. Makes me wanna be a WAR. >_>

                          Agreed Stubs =P I will say though that I didn't expect Chucky to do THAT well... the fight was over for me before i even realized it. Kinda let down, but kinda relieved at the same time. And besides...

                          Isn't using Chucky against Maat kinda fair in a way, considering the amount of dirt we eat just to get to 70? =)
