BST's go bard?

On my server I noticed alot of the BST turn to bard, i guess cuz they're bored or want a party friendly job without having to level a sub or buy much more new equipment since they pretty much one in the same. Is it like this on all servers? I think I might do this.

i used to do this, however, umm... if you play brd and bst and then have another job that was your main from before... you find out that you have NO room for anything. brd instruments take up 6-8 slots, equipment, pet food/jugs, i play nin also so nin equipment and powders then your usual mog house junk leaves me with 80/80 and 58/60. having to change jobs and swap equipment out 2 at a time is ><'

if this is the only 2 jobs you play and they are in the same lvl ballpark then it works out pretty well. when you upgrade 1 job, you upgrade for both! :D

I'd imagine going from bst to brd wouldn't require much difference in the ways of chr gear. Pluse they also share a subjob in whm. But as omni said, the amount of other items the two jobs require in order to play efficiently can take up a lot of space, even if you are using the same armour and subjob for both.

.....ok well i have enough mh slots (all 3 upgrades) and furniture (60 storage slots) so i have gear for solo brd (not all the instruments) solo and pt rdm, and thf, along with foods nin tools for thf, about 20 slots of rare/ex items, fishing gear (was a gift ) and about 20 quest items.../sigh which i need to turn in and finsh hehe.

It can be done, i like the way my MH looks (although I am working on getting a new desk ) so if you are worrried about space i highly reccomend furniture. You can double or even triple your avaiable space with the right furniture, the rdm and thf gear is all in the mog safe with the bard solo gear in storage (since i have to be in my home nation to access storage). Plus it can make you mh look really nice too

yea with furniture it helps alot, i just find it real time consuming to have to go back to my home country and grab stuff out of my storage. i have all outpost tele also but everything is just so situated in jeuno you dont want to have to do the extra work sometimes, esp. if you have a pt waiting for you.
